The Russian situation will never improve until campaigns are open, debates are fair, and elections are transparent to everyone. Until then, what we have now is a new Brezhnev. How much longer till long lines for bread? Only person with new ideas and courage to do them is Prokhorov, and it is sad that he was forced out. But no one wants to be puppet. He will be back, hopefully back before it's too late for Russians.
