Its like the cod trolls bashing cod for using the quake 3 engine, but it looks nothing like quake 3. UNLIKE most devs, IW did not "rename" quake 3 engine after they massively updated it. Or should ispeak about uncharted that uses a moded unreal engine but they renamed it and called it "their engine"

Unreal engine is and will be and remains a constant update on the previous, who the FUCK cant afford the licensing costs of the unreal engine? Its the most overused engine ever. Even assasin creed and mirror's edge have a modified version of it, no matter how much they like to call it a "new engine" it is not. Same goes for cryengine 2, its a toned down version of the first, NOT a better one. Thats how things work nowdays, fake hype.

You're full of shit. While most engine upgrades are improved upon from previous ones, software companies and game developers who can't afford the licensing costs of high-end game engines, such as the Unreal Engine, DO build engines from the ground up. Such is the case with game developer ID Software with their new IP Rage. I'm not here to argue the truth of what Bethesda is saying, they have more credibility than you.  I'm not listening to a fucking "YouTube expert", lol.
