i don't think it really matters where bands come from. everybody is the same anyway. i mostly like good music and that can come from anywhere

I can't agree saying England has the best music, considering the majority of modern music was pioneered in america. The clash, the sex pistols? Where would they be without the new york dolls or the stooges? How about all of the old blues players that Cream and Zeppelin were influenced by? Elvis Presley: King of Rock and Roll? KISS? Its really a vicious cycle, not saying english music isn't important, but it certainly isn't the best.

and if you want to get really technical, none of those bands would exist without blues and in some cases dub/reggae.

i think England has the best music well this genre but there are a few american indie bands that i love like the danks, but they dont compare to the like of milburn or the metros america is to mainstream and comercial to be indie i think they have no real culture.
