A Big Fat NO from The Prime Minister ME/CFS

This is part of the governments response to a petition that was put before them in 2007 asking the Prime Minister to get the Health Service and medical profession to accept the World Health Organization's classification of ME/CFS as an organic neurological disorder and not as a psychosocial syndrome.

I will do a response of my own to this, after I have calmed down a bit lol.

Good to have someone else fighting for people with ME/CFS. The government have had the wool pulled over their eyes by the proponents of CBT and GET, while people with ME/CFS are treated with contempt and the few researchers who have looked into the biological causes of ME/CFS have their work suppressed. The MRC has a disproportionate amount of psychiatrists advising it who have a vested interest in pushing for a psychiatric explanation.

Thank you for your great comments. What has really infuriated me is that its happening to people/children with conditions that have overlapping symptoms of CFS for instance, yet these are disregarded for the waste basket diagnosis of CFS where children especially are forced into mental health and graded exercise treatments. This is truly criminal in my mind.

Thank you for your comment. I have seen all your videos on this and whilst my daughter doesnt have CFS/ME her treatment at the hands of some medical professionals when they assumed she did, still makes me want to spit nails. I have a friend that has CFS/ME but thankfully she is an adult. Our children are at the mercy of these doctors and it sickens me.

The Medical Research Council have so far refused all funding for biomedical research into M.E. It has granted several million pounds to the self serving psychiatrists making themselves very rich by pretending that M.E. is an 'aberrant illness belief'.

Prof Peter White has been given over £2 million for his useless PACE trials.

The situation is a national scandal.M.E. is the only neurological illness in the UK treated solely by psychiatric interventions.

Shame on the psychiatric profession!

The Prime Minister is a criminal like all those politicians because hes is not looking after the sick, he is not even looking out for us. He and all other top politicians who have done nothing to help this condition, not offered even a lousy penny when millions go on "defence" are just PIGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Great video and lovely music, so appropriate. I hope this conspiracy is all documented and made into a movie one day. How ME as a disease was covered up for so long is quite an amazing. The US is bad enough, but the UK really is the urinal of the europe when it comes to abusing their population wih ME/CFS, considering the UK's immense wealth. So much could have been done, and yet nothing but misery and harm was created by a wicked cult of psychiatrists determined to finish off the sick.
