Art Journal Technique: Junk Journal Part 3

In this video I work in my junk journal. I'm adding color in 3 ways to teh pages. Acrylic paint. I use the paint straight form the tube and with water to get a different effect. I also use watercolor pencils. Some straight color but also by blending 2 colors to tone down the brightness of a color. I also use chalk pastels. I mix this with clear acrylic varnish to set the color and to move it around the page.

@TheArtisticBiker LOL you sharpen with a knife too. I sharpen regular pencils with a sharperner but colored, chalk and water colors with a knife, it's preserves the lead, I can get a very very fine point with a knife
