My Spasmodic Dysphonia

This is the reason my voice has sounded strange for the past couple years. If you look at some of my past videos you can see it's gotten better then worse, back and forth. Hopefully these injections will make it better.

I've got this I think my voice is so wierd and croaky, iv got a speech tomorrow for English :( I'm 16 and it's fucking wrecking my life

I am 15 going on 16 and I have been living with this my whole life. I only now found out about this disorder and I would do anything to make my voice "normal". You are really inspirational because you don't let people get into your head as easily as others. I am trying to convince my mom now to take me to see someone so I can have it confirmed that I have ADductor Spasmodic Dysphonia. I really hope that this procedure works. :)

Anyone who makes negative comments about your speech is an ignorant p**ck. People like that are too stupid to realise that anyone could develop a medical condition which would affect the way they speak. I really admire you for making this video- stay strong! :)

I'm taking prerequisite courses for graduate school in speech-language pathology. I appreciate you posting this video because I'm reading about many different speech disorders and it's hard to understand what these are without having examples. Of course, I'm not in graduate school yet and haven't started observations, but I want to be more knowledgeable. Thank you so much for posting this video. I hope your treatment is going well.
