I believe that this from the third episode from the 1980 series of "Not the Nine O'clock News." I believe that is one hilarious song-- from the Ronald Regan to the thirty-year old Lucille Ball! XD

  • One of their best songs. But please do fix the captions. It's Gerald Ford, not Joe Thorn, DC-10s, not "DC tents", "death is sad" not "deadly sad", the president's name was spelled Reagan, Col. Sanders can "fry". Otherwise thanks!

  • @laddiebuck12 Oh, thanks for telling me. I have hearing problems (go figure) and I never did get those. I reheard it and I did hear "Gerald Ford" but not the DC-10 one. Oh, and I did get the "death is sad" one, but I never got around to fixing it. But yeah, I'll get right on it. - edC

  • Love this so sad it has ended ....

  • The song is rather ironic now, with Reagan constantly being ranked as one of the best-loved Presidents in US history. They're erecting a statue of Reagan in London this weekend with 'He won the Cold War without firing a shot' on the base.'

  • Not The Nine O'Clock News began in 1979, and ended in 1982.

  • @edsigalaClassic Cool, thanks!
