Giant Cyclone is a twisted wooden coaster. It is only 87ft tall so it has to use the best of it's speed in the low areas. The park wanted a coaster that would seem fast and out of control, have a mile of track, give sudden airtime, and some lateral forces.

Giant Cyclone features two 87 foot tall lift hills that appear to intersect from the side, two high twisting turns, six helices, and sixteen drops, some of which produce ejector airtime. The ride only comes above the tree line on a few occasions. The coaster has three red Millennium Flyer trains each with a white racing stripe.

Statistics:
Height: 87 feet
Top Speed: 51 mph
Length: 5325 feet (over a mile)

The Video sometiems speeds up randomly during the ride making the track look bumpy in some spots, I apologize for this. Made with No Limits www.nolimitscoaster.de

  • Don't you want to avoid lateral force in building coasters?
