okay how the hell would he know if the crank is super stiff and theres no flex !!! youre on a moutain bike !!! you have a duel suspension smoothing out youre ride theres no way you could tell

Well, if you're on a budget, you get X-7 drivetrain and Elixir 3, and you're ready to go.

you haven't had a dropped chain yet? I don't see any any ISCG 5 chain tension system on there. I love my X0 drivetrain, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't say that I haven't ever had a chain drop yet. It isn't common, but I have to say that anyone who hasn't had it drop yet hasn't ridden it hard enough yet.
