In Germany you have to really search to find a Jetta on the roads. In the US, on the other hand, its a big hit, the new turbocharged two liter diesel engine will help it sell even better. Its exhausts are so clean, that the American government is paying out tax subsidies: 1300 dollars for each buyer, and theres more to be saved at the pumps. Even with 140 horses beneath its hood, the Jetta TDI only uses 5.5 liters to cover 100 kilometers.

  • FUCK PRIUS! or PRI or PRIUM, what ever it was called as plural, JUST FUCK IT.

  • just got mine yesterday. Very happy with it. Powerful and fuel efficient, and you don't have to look like a douche bag in a prius to get the efficiency.

  • Das Auto.

  • idontcare80 and propanemower13 must be married to each other because they bicker like a couple of old birds. Honestly people its a fuckin car like it or lump it

  • clean diesel is cleaner than gas engines, liter by liter.

  • lol, man you're easily upset aren't you?

Yes the new TDI is AS clean as some gasoline engines.

  • the newer diesel tdi from volkswagen is cleaner the have particulate filters and nox filters please stop arguing with me you probably dont even know how a diesel works but they are as clean as gas if not cleaner stop arguing with me

  • The TDI is certainly not cleaner than gasoline. At best diesel engines are as clean as gasoline engines.

  • no its actuctually cleaner than gasoline and it does not mean its dirtier if it does not use urea they just use a differnt filtration system so you dont have to keep filling up the urea resivoir every month i have done my reseach vw uses a better system than urea

  • Which is why VW TDI engines are not as clean as gasoline engines.
