So I broke my screen and decided to order a cheap screen. I didn't do enough research and ordered the part number 4850998 for my N95-1, but it actually needs the 4850074 screen. For those who are researching the same thing, the 4850098 still works, but is slightly dimmer and not as sharp. I paid $18.99 with free shipping from NJ on EBAY from seller BESTUSSTORE and got it in 3 days. I needed a cheap fix as I am probably upgrading to the Iphone soon. If you need a temporary replacement, you can buy this screen, but if you are looking for a long term one do a little more research and make sure you are getting the right screen!
my replaced screen doesn't have a power saver screen saver, i can see it but it's to dark

Cracked my N95 screen this time last year, all of the colors bled and mixed so it was not only cracked but the phone was also rendered USELESS as nothing was showing in the display.
Recently pulled the N95 out of the draw and searched online about fixing it, heard a lot of positive results about what you've done (screen replacement) so I'm considering buying a replacement from ebay. They are sold for £6 atm with tools so I'm skeptical now that I've seen your vid... any advice?

If this screen isn't as sharp, what phone model was this screen originally meant for in the first place?
