Dont let the video fool you. It was shot 4 yrs ago and lots has changed there. Martin has some very cool people but sadly they are a very small minority. Mostly you will encounter rednecks, snitches, methheads, morons, phony christians, and cops everywhere ticketing (and arresting) to raise money for this dying city. Stay away from this place if you value any quality of life. Businesses: DO NOT move here! In fact stay away from ALL of nw tenn. The area is dead.

Just to respond to a couple of comments and messages that I've gotten for this video...first of all, I am far from "rich" and I honestly can't see why that is relevant to anything. Second, I've spent a pretty fair amount of time in Martin (I don't currently live there but stayed there for a few months and still visit regularly) and I have always enjoyed it and found it a very relaxing and peaceful place that is always refreshing. I don't hate it.

I was hoping that you would of had my grandmothers old house in this video! I'm not sure the address, but its a big old white house across the street from a park that has an old train parked there. The house itself is like 150 years old! Please go by there so I can see it again! I'm not sure who lives there now!

I know the house that you are talking about...I haven't been to Martin in a while, but the next time I'm there I will try and get a few shots of it for you!
