Anyway on a more serious note, I think the word 'spectacle' (regardless of it being a whimsical word in itself) is the perfect way to describe those people. it's similar to my dad thinking he has to yell at people over the phone because they are so far away. But yeah, I cannot stand people who talk loudly on phones in public, let alone on speaker phone! and it's always fucking women!! (I am a woman so that's not sexist, so meh!) or is it...
