@idicula1979 You're an idiot for assuming that everyone who votes Republican is concerned only with taxes, health care, and budget issues. You're an idiot for assuming that all Republicans are clones, running on identical platforms, holding identical values, and supporting identical legislation. You're an idiot for making the implication that all problems stem from the GOP.
Truth is, the vast majority of Congress is corrupt and incompetent - Democrats and Republicans.

If you thought in the past that republicans would agree to a decent bugdet one that would include tax cuts ( maybe you thaught this because as a baby you were dropped on your head) was ever an option well then guess again. And since the new healthcare law their side has become evermore entreched since they think everyone is an idiot and they think the could kill off healthcare by simple attrition and by not budgeting for it. This would make everyone who votes republican AN IDIOT.

sounds all reasonable, but if and when doesnt help us now and i dont play the blame game, simple fact as is right now ,the gov't spends more than it takes in and mostly because of some new entitlements THEY came up with, which WE have to pay for, when you take 2.3billion each month in and spend 3.8billion in the same time.....you need to borrow,so simple solution (from me a simple men) stop spending more than you take in,if it means we have to get rid of some (new) entitlements...so be it

(contd)... If Bush hadn't decided to cut taxes and increase spending (expansionary policy) further inflating the bubbles and the dollar we would have been paying off our debt for the last decade. We also probably would have mitigated or avoided this recession which left us with no revenues and left Obama with a 1.2 Trillion dollar deficit when he came into office if Bush hadn't been economically dyslexic and exercised the exact opposite policy that was called for at the time.
-
(contd)... mainstream (keynesian) economic theory dictates that you are supposed to exercise CONTRACTIONARY (raising taxes, cutting spending and paying off the debt) policy after a decade of unsustainable growth. Clinton could have done more, but he left Bush with a budget that would have produced a 300 billion dollar surplus in his first year. (contd)...

@Hoschi0913 We obviously do, I don't think you could find a democratic congressman who thinks that entitlements don't need big time reforms. But when Obama tries to reform Medicare by cutting the failure of medicare part d the Republicans scream that he is killing grandma. Then A year and a half later the release te Ryan budget that basically ends medicare and replaces it with vouchers! And if Bush wasn't a complete retard and had taken a single economics class he would know that (contd)...

all we do as for now is pay the interest on the dept we have, which is billions, besides those entitlements where designed in a whole different "environment" back then, like a car if you will,no one would go into one today that was made in 1940,with such a low standard on safety and such a high gas concumption, pretty much the same with entitlements, they sure as hell need an "update" to be effictive again, but no one wants to see it nor hear about it,which is bad ,cuz as is,they will drain us empty

when it comes to be a hypocrite, the dems aint better in it,i think we need to look at those entitlements (including medicare,ss medicate etc) from a view of efficiency, meaning does it has the effect originaly desinged for and perhaps put laws in place that prohibites any other as the intended use of the money recieved for,iam fully aware that it means the gov't has to spend way less as it does today, you can not spend more as you take in,who's paying off those $16.5Trillions? no one!!

@Hoschi0913 I think everyone agrees our entitlements need to be reformed. But cutting taxes so that we have even more devastating deficits so that we need to cut our entitlements even further is purely republican pandering to the wealthy. And didn't the GOP say healthcare reform was "killing grandma"? NOw they are proposing a plan that would according to the new york times, "end medicare as we know it". If they weren't such fucking hypocrites nobody would be bringing this up...
~^^NEVER VOTE FOR A REPUBLICAN AGAIN! The PAUL RYAN BUDGET PLAN will DESTROY MEDICARE for those of us 54 years or younger. IMAGINE being an old man or woman and having to do BATTLE with a PRIVATE insurance company because the voucher you got is too little to afford coverage or you just can't get coverage for your illness! REPUBLICONS slipped this in their budget proposal with no DISCUSSIONS OR DEBATE! TELL YOUR STATE REPUBLICON$ YOU WILL NEVER VOTE FOR THEM AGAIN!
