@heddalee They were barely dating. Lucky had a crush on Sarah and they went on a few dates, but she didn't have any romantic feelings for him. Shortly after Liz came to town (long before Liz/Lucky got together), Sarah let Lucky know that she wanted to be just friends and got seriously involved with Nikolas. Then, quite a while after that, Liz and Lucky fell seriously in love. So there was never a real Lucky/Sarah relationship, and Liz definitely did not "steal" Lucky from Sarah.

@heddalee LOL, very true. I hate what's happened to her character the last few years. Ever since the Liason affair, it's been all downhill from there. I'm quite a big Liz/Lucky fan and that particular relationship has just become so horrible. They've both done such terrible, out-of-character things to each other.

@heddalee But you have to keep the timeline in mind. Back when this aired, Liz's record was pretty clean by soap standards. She hadn't cheated on anyone, none of her paternity lies had happened yet (except maybe Cameron?) So she did have more room to judge Courtney then than she would now.
