  • Pit Bulls do not belong at dog parks(and I mean this in a good way.

    Substitute the "(dot) for "."

  • I see your point but the forum threads could be talking about any breed right? Especially the part about all the other dogs being unknown personalities and who knows what can happen... my dog park has a bunch of pit bulls with resp owners and there has yet to be an incident where the pitbull has been the agressor. I realize that we are extremely lucky but we also know the crowd at the dog park so that definitely helps. thanks for the links

  • thought i saw some balls (not the toy kind) - that's a major unnecessary risk to take, especially when you are trying to present a non-violent image of "pit" bulls. that young intact dog will eventually be targeted by others and/or develop dominance aggression as a result. NEUTER & ADOPT, please.

  • It's not my dog but i can assure you, that particular dog is the most patient dog at the dog park. In fact, due to the fact that he is not neutered, even more people at the dog park came to realize how great these dogs actually are since Draco was pretty much the winner of "Canine Good Citizenship" award whenever he went.

  • pit bulls arent mean dogs at all! i have one i adopted as a puppy. of course he was a little hyper and liked to bark alot but he was a puppy! wat else can u expect? now hes 3 years old and has never hurt anyone. just because you hear the name pit bull doesnt mean they are the meaniest dogs in the world. mine is rly friendy. i think ppl should just give them a chance

  • Thanks for the kind words. I would hope with continual education of the public, that these dogs will no longer be demonized. Everyone says that (insert breed that they own) are the best dogs, but Pit Bulls truly have a higher drive to please their owners. How their owners harness this drive is up to them, but as you see in this video, these dogs are all good!

  • These are bullies, not pits. Dog Aggression was bred out of AmBullies, so I don't see the problem here.

  • @seiboshen 2 years late, but just thought I'd tell you - Pitbulls were bread for DA (dog aggression). So no, it cant be said for every breed. Pitbulls were specifically bred to combat other dogs and thats why it's in your best interest to avoid dog parks.

  • i hate that people say pit's are bad dogs look at all these cuties playing together!

  • dracos all like NINJA on that ball!!!

  • @anthonymma1 That fact that pitbulls dont belong at dog parks has nothing to do with people being attacked since people aggression is not a trait that the apbt has. But rather dog aggression issues, a pitbull may not start a fight but it will finish it. Even if the pitbull didnt start the fight you can bet that it will be blamed.

  • I really want the Bull terrier ^.^ so pretty

  • @seiboshen till he finds another intact male and a female close to them

  • the blond dog we see in bout 20seconds of the video is like perfect mirror image of my pitbull lab! is it a pit lab also?female?

  • @seiboshen I think (if it's the same posts I've seen) that the reason they shouldn't be there, is because, if another dog attacks your pit bull, and your pitbull defends itself, since he's a "bully breed" he will be blamed for the attack. and sadly, that's the prejudice people have against bully dogs. That if another dog starts it and gets a little boo-boo, your dog will be blamed.
