Chapter 4-Niagra Falls, Zoo, Christmas, Beauty Pagent

- This is a wonderful family home movie that shows many family birthdays, vacations, and holiday celebrations.

It looks like a family is getting a up-close tour of Niagara falls. The people are on a boat in raincoats ready to get close to the waterfall. There is a bridge that goes over the water as well as an overpass where visitors can view the falls.

fish, wolf, monkeys, goats, mountain island, oxen, chimpanzees, geese, deer, bears, peacocks, The kids pose with Humpty Dumpty. Back at home the play with the family dog.

Then, a parade passes by including: policemen on motorcycles, beauty queens in convertible cars, floats, Alice in Wonderland, unicycles, marching bands, accordions, and banjos, classic cars, pace card, race cars, classic firetruck, and Shrinner's motorcycles.

We're back at home now with the family sitting around the dinner table. This is great footage of the fashions in the 1950's and 1960's

A little girl is bundled up for the cold! She has a fur hat and muff. Then, it's Christmas time and everyone is sitting around the tree waiting for their present. Some of the little ones wear Santa Claus hats. One child receives a See and Say.

Then next summer the family takes a trip to the most magical place on earth- Disney World!

The next scene shows a shot of the Christmas tree with all the decorations. The presents are wrapped neatly under the tree

Next, it's summer time and the family is sitting around a picnic table outside. There is a birthday cake that is shaped like a train!! How wonderful!! That must have taken a long time. The children get Kool-Aid to go with their cake.

It must be the 4th of July because now the cake is shaped like an American flag. It is another beautiful cake.

There is a woman dancing with a snake around her neck!! She moves the snake form her neck to her waist.

Afterwards the family visit catfish in the pond, watch a turtle each, see an ostrich, a zebras, and flamingos.

We're back inside now for another birthday party The kids are wearing party hats and smiling for the picture. The balloons help to celebrate the birthday too!

Next is some footage of the family. The afghans on the back of the couch give great color to the picture.

The next shot shows what I believe to be a beauty pageant or a fashion show. There is a stage and people walk down the runway. The women wear swimsuits and then evening gowns.

Then it's off to Disney World! The family visits with Chip and Dale, Pluto, Goofy, Snow White, Pinocchio, The Sever Dwarfs, Dumbo. Then there is footage of the Electric Light Parade, which Disney holds each night. All of the floats light up.

Finally, the kids roller skate in the basement around pingpong tables. Then, it's back upstairs for another birthday party. The kids dance, do handstands, and the family guinea pig joins in the party.
