Roddie Casement Sword Presentation 9 May 2011

Walton-on-the-Naze Junior Sea Cadets perform the Hornpipe as part of the Roddie Casement Sword presentation evening.




Cdr Michael Casement OBE RN presented his father's sword to LT (SCC) Gary Dodd RNR for becoming the best Commanding Officer in the Country for 2010.

VIP's included Mrs Christina Casement, Cdr John Greene RN London Area Officer, Ms Caroline Haynes Principal of Tendring Technology College, Mrs Anne Mylatt Head Teacher Walton Primary, Mr Ken Blake Head Teacher Hamford Primary, Mrs Pauline Batten Deputy Head Teacher Kirby Primary.

Special thanks must go to LT (SCC) Jan Smith and PO (SCC) Kerry Wilson from Kettering Sea Cadets for training the cadets and HMS Victory for the invitation to photograph the ship ready to use for the backdrops.

I can not thank the staff enough for their support!!!!!

Lastly a big thank you to Ray White for his continuing support of Walton-on-the-Naze Sea Cadets.
