  • Why are a lot of Chek Practitioners so thin? Good video nonetheless. Most people don't understand the connection between back pain and psoas tightness.

  • Hey Robbty, Many Chek Practitioners are lean because they eat well. However, Sam is 6'4" and about 220 so i would not call him thin. Thanks for watching!

  • What is Nick? a robot?

  • Wondering if this will help me. I dislocated my right hip when I was 13. I'm 36 now. I have been given yoga stretches for my hips. I can't reach my right foot to put a sock on , or tie my right shoe.I think it is this same psoas muscle stretch that I feel when I was with my PT. He told me my other leg (right) should hang down further on the other side of the bed. (He was pushing my left leg into my chest, right hip hanging). He too was pushing my right leg down. Could that hurt my hip?

  • hey Sam when i hold my left leg close to my chest like in the video a sharp pain shoots thru the contracted leg, anterior upper thigh pain like close to the hip, any ideas on what that maybe ? thnks

  • No wonder my wife never has any psoas issues.

    BTW, great information here.

  • Can an unaligned hip be the cause of asymmetrical abs.

  • great video, thanks very much

  • 1:15 good sex position

  • great vid I train athletes and they during the warm 2 guys compare about extreme back tightness, I also thought it was from a tight psoas would have a weak core also be the cause? Great vid also

  • In fact as I was sitting and watching this video my thigh was numb from standing all day. So I just went and did the stretch laying on a table. I did the stretch for about 5 minutes and when I stood up the numbness was gone. I think I have finally found a way I can get rid of that numbness. I think I know the reason it happens but would love an explanation form you if possible. If you would like to send me a PM that would be great. Thanks again for the tip. I will do the stretch everyday.

  • Thanks for this video. About a year and a half ago I was in a car wreck and suffered severe whiplash and as a result suffer lower back pain. I have to be really careful in the way I move or exercise or I will pop it back out and have the same pain as the day of the accident. One of the things that has resulted from it was my left thigh goes numb while stand for a long time and also when walking on hard surfaces.
