The Lion King is a 1994 American animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation. Released to theaters on June 15, 1994 by Walt Disney Pictures, it is the 32nd film in the Walt Disney Animated Classics.


O Rei Leão é o 32º filme animado de longa-metragem da Walt Disney Pictures, lançado em 1994. O filme teve duas sequências, O Rei Leão 1½ e O Rei Leão 2: O Reino de Simba. O filme conta a história de Simba, um pequeno leãozinho que é filho de Mufasa, o Rei Leão, e da rainha Sarabi. O recém-nascido recebe a bênção do sábio babuíno Rafiki mas, ao crescer, é envolvido nas artimanhas de seu tio Scar, o invejoso e maquiavélico irmão de Mufasa, que planeja livrar-se do sobrinho e assumir o trono. Quando Simba se vê injustamente acusado pela morte de Mufasa, sua única chance de salvar sua vida é se exilar das Terras do Reino. @blucollection thanks, but thats still not what i mean! can i get a normal lion king dvd that is 3d (not the 3d bluray) and put it in a normal dvd player and normal tv??

@lionkingfan77 no, there is no Lion King 3D dvd. It was never released LIon KIng 3D dvd. DVD can NOT produce 3D images.

@Blucollection There actually is 3D DVD at least here in the States. Not as common as bluray, but I bet it has something to do with today's technology.

@JimmyJones no, there isn't, dvd simply does NOT have what it takes and needs to play in REAL 3D. dvd only plays the fake one that just need paper glasses, and those are not real 3d, example Spy kids 3.
