  • The religion didn't kill millions of people. People in the religion killed millions of people. I am not a christian, and I think the NLC is bullshit. However, no one deserves to have their life taken for being a christian. Do you think the jews deserved the holocaust for killing Jesus? Do I deserve to be enslaved because my great great great etc. uncle owned slaves? Retribution?! If you're an American why don't you go retribute yourself for all the Native American's that were slaughtered.

  • Sounds like your possessed by a demon to me

  • I can't believe i almost went to church that day....but me and my family were almost there but i got really sick and we went home and where we park is where the mamorial is now.

  • @ThatTyGuy95 Well, considering that one of those gay kids who was probably abused by one of the pastors ended up going back to their youth military camp to kill people and then the church the next day, I'd say New Life Church in Colorado Springs is doing a wonderful job of teaching hate more than I ever could offer them.

  • @Water4Jeremiah Wow, believe everything you hear much? Until you go there and understand more about the church, don't be spreading hate.

  • Watch this. HBO's Friends of God (watch?v=G1LykAxrR4Y) shows that New Life Church was training Christians to be 'warriors' in an atmosphere of violence. I read in another article they were working kids to the point of exhaustion mixed in with gay pastors (NOT just Ted Haggard) who were sexually abusing them on top of it.

    Christians are so fucking crazy!

  • @MrRawdog1972 We didn't turn our back on him! We love him he was part of our family. the service after that happened was so emotional EVERYONE was in tears. He left we didn't make him.

    I go there BTW :D

  • @lzepln You sir need God. :D

  • I went to New Life that day. I never really watched this. I was worried. Scared and just. Blown away this happened to my church. Still in shock but we are still strong today. it's stil so vivid my grandpa was part of the security that was on the scene. he didn't go home til 9:00 that night.

  • @reedmayproductions Speaking as a Non-Christian, I'm inclined to believe that "God" did not "allow this to happen". I don't believe that "God" would have innocent people shot anymore than I believe that "God" ordered an old drunk to build a ship atop a mountain so that "he" could destroy the world.

Having said that, I will also say that karma does have a way of presenting itself.

  • One thing: This didn't happen to teach a 'lesson'. God didn't do this. People against the cause of Jesus did.
