The King of England was anti-Catholic (FUCK HIM!) but he hated Puritans even more so some Puritans left to go to America because some people had already gone to live there but they didn't have enough supplies when they got there so the Natives helped them and thats why they celebrate Thanksgiving but because Americans decend from Puritans they also give thanks to God.
