I much prefer this song at this btisker tempo than the usual lugubrious renderings. It sounds more like the drinking song it presumably is meant to be. The spontaneity of the moment (not to mention the aptness of the setting) all contribute. As to Mr Kruglov's voice..... WOW!

@LightMare7 He seems (I mean, the guy next to Mikhail Kruglov) really apart from the feast. At 2'01'', Kruglov tells him something, I don't know what precisely, but he doesn't change his mind, or his face.
