  • i love this music and the history

  • It's like listening to 3 different bands... in a sense they're genius!! They rolled with the punches & satisfied a wide variety of audiences! I LOVE the original FM, but also love them after they changed it up by adding Christine & Stevie... Now the 80's pop stuff, BLEH!!! But there are ppl that love that era, that's a true artist for ya! Meeting up with the demands of their audience!

  • the best white bluesband whenever is CUBY AND THE BLIZZARDS

  • They are GREAT !!!

  • @Vinniemoore89 It wasn't "the girls" - Christine was OK IMHO. "Bare Trees" is an excellent album that I wore the grooves off of back in the day. Stevie and that narcissist Lindsay Buckingham are what *really* ruined the band for me.

  • @kettuantti The most innovative music era of modern times. The teens of the50s formed the bands that made the 60s, ( Beatles, Floyd, Cream, F/Mac, etc ), then it mostly started to go downhill for some reason? The70s, 80s, onwards produced some wonderful music, but NO era will be remembered like the 60s. I am so glad I was a teenager right thro that time. Glastonbury before it turned sour, good live music, no real violence to speak of, a lovely time to be young.

  • The real 'Mac' ceased to exist when Peter Green left, and they became a 'pop' band. They might have got money and recognition when Nicks/ Buckingham came on the scene, but that was'nt the 'real blues band' I watched regularly 'live', and grew up with. Greeny did'nt 'sell out', he carried on with his true love, THE BLUES. Thought him & Rory Gallagher playing ' Leavin Town Blues' was probably the best I have heard two great Blues Musicians play. Ain't Heard it? Give it a try, Awesome.

  • @kettuantti the 70s was the best time for music.

  • @mr1168726 Gilmour is a genius. And is probably the only guitarist, along with Tony Iommi, who innovated a totally new sound.
