brutha get the extensions.. i dont see what's the big fucking deal and why ppl make such a big deal about extensions... u can grow your hair out and over time in a few years when your natural hair gets long u can cut off the extension part what's the big deal... as you said your hair is still going to grow out

@renceferd83 i think it would be a bit different starting with loc extensions because it's not yours. I think it would probably feel like box braids but after a while you'd probably start to get an attachement but I don't think it would be exactly the same from starting out natural from day one. But since you've done it already just skip the headache part and use the extensions.

excellent job! they look so real--- but you know, i kinda loved my fuzzies, so i didn't mind the 'ugly' stage at all. my locs were fuller too, during that stage. but i really can't complain, i loved my hair through all the stages. but i can still understand what you mean. do whatever you feel is right. in the end, it is YOUR hair. you'll look great either way. LOL

I wanted loc extensions when I first decided to lock. But my loctican wouldn't do them so I did it the old fashion way. I'm happy I did go the natural way, but it would have been a much easier journey without have to deal with the "ugly" stage.

@tbey82 The "ugly" stage is frustrating but it's also rewarding when its all over and you have a certain connection with your hair. Not sure if its any different with ext's but this time around I just don't know if I want to wait a yr and a half for my locs to mature again lol
