The History of Batman: A Fans Love Story

Some background. This was a project I did awhile back. The idea was to interpret the history of Batman as a silly, sappy, love story between the Dark Knight and his fans. I wasn't happy with how it came out - particularly the song choices - but I did the best with what I had available at the time. I initially wanted the music to recount the ups and downs of the Caped Crusaders history and various incarnations through the eyes of his 'fan'. I ended up doing another Batman video, which I was much happier with and this one fell by the wayside. But with the upcoming release of The Dark Knight this summer that will add another chapter to this ongoing story, it made me reconsider of just putting this up for anyone who wants to watch it. So here you go.

Why didnt you cover returns, forever, and batman beyond at all though?

The idea actually started with that Batman and Robin song combo.

The main reasons why I didn't cover the films in between was for times sake and the fact the huge blow of B&R seemed funnier immediately following the high points of 1989.

In my opinion, Christian Bale wasn't the best batman. The way I see it, Michale Ketion was the best batman.

Er... NO! Batman is supposed to be dark and brooding. Clooney's Batman wasn't emotionally tormented, he wasn't brooding, he wasn't dark, he didn't strike fear into petty criminals and he sure as hell was not Batman. He sucked ass!
