Al St. John is a totally underrated talent.

0:55 LOL! That's Buster's idea of shaking?

It's funny that in their act Buster is Fatty's chauffer, in Buster's autobiography My Wonderful World of Slapstick he tells about a joke he and Fatty played on somebody who criticized a joke of theirs, so Buster played the chauffer and drove them both to a hotel but along the way gave that heckler a ride he'd never forget.

I think this is the one Arbuckle film that the Museum of Modern Art missed in their wondrous retrospective several years ago, or at least I missed it if it was there. Maybe it surfaced since then. It's particularly good to see the house-falling stunt Keaton performed a bit later in his own film. I wonder what Al St. John (later Fuzzy St. John), Arbuckle's talented acrobat/comedian nephew, thought of Keaton, who sort of usurped so much of his screen time in Arbuckle shorts in this era.

Had never seen this - I'd say Keaton definitely upped the ante with this gag in Steamboat Bill, Jr.
