  • Great watch. Simple and understated regarding looks, and one of the most accurate movements available for sale right now. Would love to know if the 50 year service interval is real or not.

  • I'm not sure.

    But I think "it's real".

Seems like users are entitled to repair services at reasonable rates

for a period of 30 years from the date of discontinuation of manufacturing.

  • quatz?

  • yes.

    SBGX009 is quatz.

  • I think that's quartz, right? I don't know there is quartz series in Grand Seiko...

  • quartz :-/

  • @deviatea but much more expensive

  • A grand automatic is better than a battery model.

  • Hi, I love this watch. But why can't I find an official site of this watch?

  • why don't they make high-beat quartz?

  • haha Swiss quartz movements are built to be slightly off, but this one lands exactly on the mark

  • Not many Swiss quartz movements can even get close to that accuracy. I think Seiko and Citizen are at the pinup of quartz movements.

  • Citizen Chronomaster only loses 5 secs per year. Both are top of line quartz watches

  • battery orologio always fail
