Kings of Wyoming was a NYC band consisting of Albert Garzon on guitar and keyboards, Cathy Crane on bass, and John Beekman on drums and loops. The group did gigs in New York at Knitting Factory, and other shows in Boston, Philadelphia and Albany. KOW recorded with Scott Hull engineering in upstate New York. The band's LP was released by Community 3 in 1989. In 1990, cult film director Hal Hartley used the song "Janelle" in his movie "Surviving Desire". Garzon is also known for his work producing an early Natalie Merchant album entitled "Secrets of the I-Ching" later renamed "Hope Chest". Album art on this video by Stan Woodard.
