As an Anglo teacher who teaches the Civil Rights Movement of African Americans in the South, I feel inadequate to answer my Hispanic students who ask, "Where were we then?' "What were we doing?" Thanks for a video that I can show them to start answering that question.

Mucha de la gente que trabaja en la agricultura en los valles de California, EE.UU, son campesinos indigenas de Oaxaca, Chiapas o Guerrero, que aun hablan su idioma autoctono y conservan sus tradiciones ancestrales. Desadortunadamente, tambien son faciles victimas del abuso y la explotacion.
Yo apoyo que se les otrogue justicia social y derechos civiles basicos, como el tener cuidado d esalud publico, lisencias de conducir, vivienda y trabajo digno y justo.
