  • That's strange. There are no covers on the RCS thrusters. I wonder why.

  • Blue-green flame is keenly honed combustion & very hot.

  • @crazybastard82 there have been 5 instances of main engine cut off prior to SRB ignition and liftoff... and a few residual vapours of hydrogen when this happens, thats why the sparklers continue right up to SRB ignition

  • @ApoloTR, as always, your Shuttle videos are amazing!

  • @flanksteak6 The spark igniters are enabled by the computer at T-10 seconds. They DO NOT ignite the engines!!! I cant stress that enough! They actually burn off excess hydrogen that has escaped the engine nozzles. If the engines were ignited with a hydrogen cloud nearby then it would damage the nozzles and/or engines.

  • So sad to see these wonderful birds being grounded.

  • LIQUID H2 + LIQUID O2= THIS

  • Could you imagine sitting in this cocksucker while it idles up feeling the rumble?

  • Burns so damn hot that it's BLUE!!!!!
