well, a few weeks back a woman took her own life...unliek the lady who decided not to stop and wait for the trains to go pass while the gates were down...sorry, but thats her fault. this other lady took her life at the W. LaGrange station in the middle tracks while an Amtrak train was approaching.

Back in the 90s or so a woman was hit by a train. It was caught on tape and its all over youtube. It was also showed on "Train Wrecks" on A&E.

what i want to know is why do 2 metra units sound like a frieght train...or the New MP3 units? when u have one old Metra unit by itself, it ound loud and doesnt make any usual sound changes...i wonder if u all understand what im talking about

Is there a lot of red tape involved in metra using BNSF tracks.
-
Thank you! As an employee, it's in my job description.

seen a metra come in too the station 2hrs early and he wondered why nobody was waiting LOL think he may have skipped a few stops i think he was fired after that rumor was he was drinking before work
1262 is a Metra Train number. Not applicable when on BNSF rails.
Train ID on BNSF was A 12621 10.

wow cool video there man! is it common for Metra trains to arrive early? wow i've never seen 2 Metra units shoving they're train backwards nice catch! how do they do that with the cars in front and the engines in back how does the engineer control the train then is some1 sitting controlling the train from the cab or cars???

The first car is a cab car. He controls the train from there. It all depends on what time they arrive. Sometimes there is nothing that interferes with operation and they arrive early.
