I think dana white truly wants the best for all the mma groups, and in doing so making UFC the #1 quality premier way in which to introduce people to the sport makes sense. The steady approach will work out in the long run. NO KOMBO's allowed is the slogan thats needed for all future MMA.

and applying the term monopoly in mma is a little silly. UFC isn't cornering the market intentionally, many organizations have existed and are still prospering(mfc,cfc,bellator..e­tc). it's only when someone says they want to go head-to-head with the UFC and they have jack shit and have to rely on one or two fighters to carry the entire organization.. case in point strikefarce..who the fuck do they have, fedor, mussassi, gina..'cmon man, you need an entire roster b4 stepping up to the UFC

yes, some top ufc fighters make less than top fighters from other organizations, but at least ufc can afford it, affliction went under and so will strikefarce. on top of that UFC fighters make way more money in endorsements than anyone else because all the big corporations are flocking to the UFC. and fighters has a better chance stamping their legacy in history by staying in the UFC because the organization is constantly growing.

Actually They bought Pride because Pride went bankrupt... But any way thats beside the point, I think its in the best interest for the Fighters that there be more than 1 Monopoly organization, since The Top UFC fighters arent making as much as the top Affliction Fighters, and Affliction has its doors open for a co promotion fight, Even as far as alowing UFC fighters challange for the WAMMA Belts
