Oh my goodness you actually heard some lady call her  lil todller a mother f***cker OH MY GOODNESS you should of reporter her to child services or some thing cuz im pretty sure thats emotional abuse and its already abuse any ways cuz shes beating her kid like that. But i do not believe spankings are all that bad i use to get them i havent gotten one since i was like idk 6 but when i got them i deserved it but i almost never got them

I wondered what you thought about this video. Yes she beat him and smacked him in his face. So sad. An I agree, quick spanking to stop that child from harming himself or others is not bad. I just never wanted my children to think if you don't like what someone does....HIT THEM!

My son is 23 years old and I aint had a day of trouble out of him. You dont have to beat your children if you lay the fear in them early. Girl my son is still scared of me to this day and I am 5'8 and he is 6'5! You must first lead by example. You cant beat on your kids and then turn around smoking weed in front of them, drinking in front of them, cussing at them YAW KNOW WHO YOU ARE. In order to receive respect from your children you as a mother must first give it to them.....

You are so right! I will discipline my children. I do a LOT of talking. I'm not perfect, but all that beating is not good. Oh and my children are scared of me to. My 23 year old son STILL respects me and will not talk back to me, and he lives on his own.

The problem with parents today in the black community is they raise their children like slaves. Beat them for: looking at them the wrong way, talking back, having the last word, doing bad in school, etc... This is how slave owners treated blacks. Black parents show their children little to NO PHYSICAL LOVE OR AFFECTION. If you're black ask yourself: how often did my parents say: I love you! You're beautiful! You can do it I believe in you!

It's amazing how people can judge someone so passionately about disciplining (not abusing) their children but you won't step in and speak up against other injustices. Smdh. Different children cause for different methods. Not every child is the same some need to be whooped. It's not right to hit children in the face or kick them e.t.c. but a good spanking never hurt anyone. She actually made some good points. I do not disagree, but for you people who believe that spanking is wrong you're crazy.

You made good points. Although I don't have kids of my own, my mom use to spank me when I needed it. I'm not rebellious individual or anything to where I'm against spanking kids as a form of discipline. Our kids need it! I don't know where the lynching comment came from (someone made the comment) but if discipline is used the right way it's fine in my eyes.

We beat our kids because we were afraid that they may be lynched for looking in the wrong direction. It's time to realize that we don't have to do this anymore.

Girl, everything you said is right on. Especially where you say that some girls have kids for the wrong reason. That is why so many children are violent, killing their parents or wind up being killed by their own. I commend you for taking up for that child and putting that parent in her place. I basically agree with your philosophy. So many parents take their anger out on their babies.

I was afraid to become a mother- I might beat my kids like my mom did. But I educated myself - learned how kids develop, what they need.

It takes more time and effort to discipline with love, if you were raised differently, but it can be done and it is definitely worth it.

Spanking is NOT discipline, it is violence.

Discipline means to teach. If you use violence against your child then you are teaching him that it is ok to hurt other people. You are teaching him to be angry with you. You are teaching him to fear you.

Kudos to those parents who take the time and make the effort to teach their children with love rather than pain and fear.
