@flskywarn I know, but I mean that Ike was worse is because in these days, about everything is expensive, building wise. Since Ike was so big, it caused catastrophic damage, and the Gulf coast is lucky that Ike went through an Eyewall Replacement Cycle in the Gulf, or else we could be talking about a cat 3 or 4, and the 1900 Galveston Hurricane was a cat 4.

The 1900 Galveston hurricane was a cat 4 or 5 not a cat 2.

I remember this just like it was yesterday.....and the sad thing is it's almost hurricane season again... I think this is gonna be a bad year for the gulf coast......be prepared everyone.......
