Wow, this reminds me of being a kid in the late 70s/early 80s. After dinner, we'd watch Wild Kingdom and the Wonderful World of Disney. We only had one tv in our house. In a weird way, watching the same programs brought us a little closer. Now everyone is plugged into their own electronic source of entertainment. Not really complaining because I'm guilty of doing that with my kids, just making a note.
I thought " seriously.......not Marlin Perkins...my father worshipped the ground he walked on. Then I realized.... my father was a party man....you know....you must follow "the party"...join "the collective" ..."be 1 with Landru"....what are the chances being from Louisiana...I'd get a Senator of a similar monacher. Geez...a reformed Dixiecrat of Reaganistic thought and I still can't get a break.
