England? It may have escaped your notice, that the reason we in Britain didn't get a vote on this,is because we were the MOST ANTI - LISBON.
As for WWII, we tried to stop this sort of thing for 3 years before any US forces showed up(and Ireland was neutral)

@EUROSUN1 u idiot...do u stil stand by ur comment? the lisbon treaty has in effect taken the voice of the people and their representatives away. you'll be giving them loans they could never repay and when they cant youll take ownership of their land and resources. a central world gov with a totalitarian ruler.....sounds a bit like hitler to me...im sure his goal was world domination!

Reminds me of "One People, One Nation, One Leader" You have the misguided thought that everyone agrees with us being one nation and one people. If you were to hold ONE VOTE ONLY in all "member states" then you would receive your answer. Ireland already told you NO and so did some other countries. The majority of Europeans are proud to be who they are and will say NO. We can not be united when we are clearly separate from each other.

Apparently the first vote was not good enough so you just keep holding a vote until you get a Yes vote.
