@alisaeeddotcom Yes they are but thin lipped mullet are known to take spoons baited with ragworm, Christchurch harbour is noted spot for this technique. There's quite a lot about it on the web, try googling -Mike ladel mullet- you should find something or you could also try the sportingfish dot co dot uk site they have some rigs illustrations there.

River stour here in Sandwich kent has loads of mullets swimming up it, massive ones i was spinning for pike and thats when i first realised they took them! and i tell you forget any pike fight or carp, hook a large mullet on lightish gear in a massive flow of the stour! its mental lol aint done it now for over 10 years but it was terrific. carp rule my world now :o) Fortunaly.
