At first, Japanese director planned to make 52 episodes. However, the audience ratings about Hameln was low, and staff could not improve audience ratings. Moreover, they spent a lot of money for the music in this anime. For this reason, this anime was broken off as 26 episodes. I like Hameln very much, so I`m saaaaaaaaadddddd!!!

I like how they never say the proper name of the Northern Capital because it would totally give away major plot points that anyone who's read the manga would know.
