No. It's not considered anything like an R8, don't listen to him. This is, and should be considered competition for higher end American muscle cars, porsche, and the BMW M line as well as some other luxury japanese models. Anyone that considers this a R8, or Ferrari is an idiot. That's like saying the corvette Zo6 is replacing a pagani zonda

@plutobauer I don't think the TT RS will be replacing the 458 or whatever in posters on the walls of American kids. But now having one, it is terribly fun to drive, and the sound is something else. Instead of a Ferrari, maybe it can be considered a sort of baby R8. ;)

@krnazn323 This was actually in Virginia; the Michigan plates are sported because the car is owned by Audi. The car was brought out to TT-East 2010 to let participants see and drive.
