Please notice that after this, neither Daisuke nor Koji, or ANYBODY at the Umon center come to the conclusion that fighting Vega would be easier with Koji in Great Mazinger.

would've been great if Koji piloted his original Mazinger Z robot instead, and would've been more dramatic if they played the "Our Mazinger" theme when Koji does the "Pilder On!"

Yes,but why deny facts ? In the original Grendizer manga,there was a chapter where Grendizer fought against the two Mazingers and the match was a tie,Grendizer did not get damaged yet GM's arm was chopped off. The manga is the most authenticated source , along with the fact that Grendizer is taller and heavier than the Mazingers, so why deny facts? Mazinger fighting and winning alone in the same way every time just made the show boring and childish,nothing comparable to Grendizer.

The difference here is that Koji Kabuto was not G.Mazinger pilot. Reason for poor Great Mazinger fight. was because of this, Koji is better fighter than Dyskie. The only thing the better robot is Grendizer is alien UFO Robo has more weapons and bigger size robot for space fights technology higher than Great Mazinger home made robot. But, Dyskie is Duke of planet Fleed not a fighter. Koji is trained to fight in robots Mazinger, Great Mazinger, Mazinkaizer and Minifu etc...
