Soldier Songs --(War is) Hell on My Heart

Nashville songwriter Jay Clementi works with a young Marine at a songwriting retreat for members of the armed forces in Vail, Co hosted by LifeQuest Transitions. Here, they write about the pain of being the one at home when your partner is deployed and you hear reports of a fatal crash. The songs, and the retreat in general, were infused with bravery, honesty and unbelievable strength of spirit.
