This is our new (February 2008) all-transparent Low Temperature Stirling engine. With a transparent top the sunlight can directly heat the top of the displacer, which is much more efficient than having the sunlight heat the top of a solid metal plate. Although it is optimised for sun running it will run on any source of gentle heat.

  • At the end it was running between 500-900 RPM.

  • how much power does this model produce anyway

  • Thank you for the very fast postage from your Ebay shop with this item, (Cullom2009) The CD instructions didn't run on either of my computers, but I figured out the assembly via some online photos. After an hour or so I have my engine ticking over on my TV set.

I'll be back in your shop again soon for a different model engine.
