  • I have a very aggressive budgie named Teecy he is very aggressive i had another budgie she died.. but i try to tame Teecy he really bites any tips to stop that? Thank you! and i love your videos.

  • @jake17124 Some budgies can be very difficult to tame Jake. Does he happily return to his cage after a fly round, or do you have to grab him? grabbing will make him very fearful of hands. One method towards hand taming is simply to make NO effort at all to touch him, just sit with your hand in his cage. Keep it very still, perhaps with a millet wedged in your fingers. Even if he flutters on to your hand, still do NOT move. Never, EVER punish for biting, he will fear you even more. PM me x

  • What a cute name for a budgie . . . Teapot. Aww.

  • Thankyou so much! I have, in the last couple of days. taken in an unwanted and hurt little hen budgie, I have named her Teacup xxx

  • @sondravids yeah... i only like the last 3 letters ;p

  • @paulaxa1 Behave, lol! A nice cup of the first 3 letters will do you far more good. At least, thats what my parents told me :o)

  • @jake17124 Bro even if he bites dont pay attention. It doesnt hurt just tickles :P if he see that your are taking your hand away from him after he bites you he will do it evrytime.

  • @jake17124 This comment is old but I wanted to ask:

Are you sure it is a he? Females (although mean well) are somewhat aggressive compared to their male counterparts.

Females also for some reason are more scared of new foreign things such as jewellery, mirros, etc.

One thing Il've also noticed is that they love to bathe (daily when clean water is offered)

The boys, not so much (Or take a quick dip)

The girls love to "soak in" for a few moments.

    :)
