Quasar TV by Motorola was THE best in the business.
I was partial to their TS-915 solid state (except HV rectifier) color TV console with a "Golden M, Premium Rated" 23EGP22 CRT. Top of the line was a combination, equipped with an AM-FM tuner, 4-speed record changer and four track reel-to reel tape deck, with an oak veneer cabinet by Drexel, over six feet long.
Cost: $1300.00 in 1967, and worth every cent.
I owned one; man will never create such an impressive entertainment center ever again.
"Raquel!"- April 26, 1970, 9-10pm(et), CBS. Co-sponsored by Coca-Cola and Motorola.
