IB Flat Roof installаtion with Tapered ISO insulation- Cambridge, MA

http://www.coolflatroof.com/flat-roofing-blog/flat-roof-cambridge-ma/ - This IB 50-mil white PVC roof was installed on a multi-family residential home in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the summer of 2010. The previous roof was a sandwiched two layer rubber roof ( http://www.coolflatroof.com/rubber-roofing.php ) that was leaking and also had a huge 2" deep water ponding in the center of the upper roof. The ponding water was occupied a space of almost 300 sq. ft., 5 days after last rain.

To eliminate ponding water we installed a total of 4" ISO insulation with half the roof tapered toward the roof drip edge, with 1/8" slope. On top of insulation, we installed new IB PVC flat roofing membrane with lifetime residential material warranty.
