I don't think any center approaching 7 feet has moved with that fluidity... Some have had more power, some have had more moves, but by virtue of his sheer length and effortless body control Wilt was definitely unique on another level.

  • @jongib369 Didn't even start one yet lol, it was just an idea right now I'm still prioritizing other things

  • @jongib369 While Wilt slashes other, smaller Globies are (jokingly) playing pivot instead of him haha. But the footage is impressive, Chamberlain could have played forward when he was under 260lbs and certainly no one in history would have been able to stop him from slashing lol. He had more value at center though, which back then was the most important spot. Modern fans would understand Wilt's greatness far better if all his highlights were of drives to the hole instead of "boring" pivot play.

  • @dantheman9758 Oooh okay, I just don't get why they wouldn't take advantage of that. A SLASHING center? Talk about scary!

are you still making the video pointing out the difference in rules?

  • @jongib369 It's because he played point guard with the Globetrotters and your looking at him slashing to the hoop from the outside off a screen which is typical guard play. That's what 1980's-present NBA fans have relished esp since Jordan. Wilt played real games exclusively as a pure center (even when he lead the league in assists). He normally was fed the ball deep in the post with his back to the basket before he got touches thus you won't see him slashing like that in his other highlights

  • Maybe its just me, but his globetrotter footage is what impresses me the most...Never saw him running and dunking like that in the nba. Was it not allowed?

  • @DE5TROY Hahaha they do look similar

  • He looks like DeMar DeRozan as a teen............its so close dont you think dan
