@bigtoe7 I agree, my parents didn't take me on planes when I was a baby because they knew I'd probably scream all the way there. Unlike a lot of parents these days they were responsible and considerate and took us on holiday in the car instead.

Why do parents take little kids on planes, can;'t they wait until they are older they are obviously not enjoying themselves. I have to put up with noise like this for 8 hours on a flight to Thailand, then the mother kept switching seats, I ended up with it sitting behind me. I wear heavy duty ear plugs.

I have a solution...since some airlines require you to check your bag because the overhead compartments are too small, why not convert some of the overhead bins into oxygen supplied compartments so you can put your baby or small child in it? Since you as a parent are obviously too embarrassed to make eye contact with your child to tell them to be quiet or to place a binki in their mouth.

ok guys.... i know we all hate little kids that scream on the plane but the bad thing is we cant do anything to shut them up since some of them are brainless babys....

I was on a bus for a 4 hour trip and the kid in front of me was facing me and screeching. I made faces at him and odd hand movements and he was so busy trying to figure out what to do that he stopped all noise. Then I drew him pictures. We all had a quiet trip then. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to act childish yourself and it would have done no good getting angry at him or his Mum.

That is the most awful noise I have ever heard in my life, and it's worse than any other noise I have ever heard before. That child sounded like a stuck pig to me. How do you think the other passengers felt having to put up with that?
