Out going US Ambassador Michael Ranneberger continues to receive good wishes as he ends his tenure. Former attorney General Charles Njonjo described his time spent in Kenya as a diplomat as one that succeeded in nurturing two very successful US- Kenya marriages , the political and the personal.

I don't think there's a particular way of dressing in Kenya that is considered "Kenyan" as such. We mainly dress like the west. With this in mind, I don't think suits and ties, pant/skirt suits is Kenyan either.... Vitenges etc. have their origin from other African countries. I personally think dressing is a person's choice and taste and also u cannot please everyone. It doesn't bother me. This was just an evening (I guess) party ..

@Wanzueni.Mind you I'm half Kenyan/American! Well, she can dress whatever she wants but there should be some restrictions on areas to wear like that and where not. Do you as a man go with a vest to official meetings? Why are the men in the meeting (she was in) dressed in suits and ties? and not open shirts? Does freedom of exposure in official meetings apply only to some?

We will welcome Redbugger back to Kenya, am happy he bagged one of our ladies but Kenya will be much better without him, he contributed to our instability and lack of economical focus as a country. The only problem is that whoever succeeds him will just be as bad because that is the nature of the beast called CIA.
