Do you have the button timing adjust activated? Somehow the button-tapping sounds out of sync with the game. I myself, like it the best if it's direct. No + or - timing.

no i havnt adjusted anything of the timing.

i am playing on a crt monitor, so there is no need to do this.

Of course, but there could be people who do it, because they like to use that feature. I play on a CRT screen myself.
